A gentle ramble at Clachtoll with the Assynt High Life Highland Countryside Ranger.

A serene stroll through the incredibly beautiful land and seascape of Clachtoll. We are focussing on slow observations as we head to the iron-age broch. Hear about the new discoveries of the recent excavation, stories of how the iron age people lived and catastrophic collapse that ended it all. Watch out for early migrant birds and great northern divers and see signs of otters and maybe cetaceans. Bring packed lunch. This is a 4km walk. Meet at Clachtoll Beach car park.
