The estuary and salt marsh area of Oldany is great for wildlife. We will look for red-breasted mergansers, shelducks, greenshanks, whimbrels and other waders at the water’s edge. We will watch harbour seals basking on the rocks and there is always a chance of seeing the resident otter or even a white-tailed sea eagle flying overhead. Bring packed lunch. Short 3km walk but can be boggy in places. Meet at Drumbeg view point car park. Grid ref: NC 120330.
