North West Highlands UNESCO Global Geopark Ambassador Scheme for Businesses
To better promote and conserve the heritage of the North West Highlands the Geopark wishes to assist the business community in their sustainable development goals. To help achieve this the Geopark has an Ambassador scheme for local businesses that have the same aims and would like the benefits of being affiliated with the North West Highlands Geopark.
The cost to become an Ambassador is £45 per year (reviewed annually).
What the Geopark can do for you
- Business listed on the Geopark website
- Promotional display material to highlight Ambassador status and commitment to the Geopark
- one of Ambassador window sticker or external sign
- digital Geopark Ambassador Logo accreditation mark for use on promotional material and websites
- area specific Geopark poster
- Social media post publicising each new Ambassador
- 10% discount on wholesale price for Geopark publications for your business
- An annual training and awareness session about the North West Highlands Geopark is offered online for you and your staff members. The recording will be made available for those Ambassadors unable to attend
- Ambassador promotional leaflets are stocked as a priority at The Rock Stop

- Mutual promotion of activities that fit with our charitable purposes
- Further development of the scheme based on Ambassador feedback
