We are excited to announce that The Rock Stop Visitor Centre will be opening for the 2025 season on Easter Monday 21st April!
The Rock Stop is the Visitor Centre for our North West Highlands UNESCO Global Geopark, with a Geopark exhibition, café and gift shop, situated in Unapool (near Kylesku). The exhibition is free with interactive activities suitable for all ages. The café is serving cakes, light bites, and hot and cold drinks, with indoor and outdoor seating with superb views of Loch Glencoul. In the shop you can find books and maps about the local area, Geopark souvenirs, and locally made gifts.
Whether you are visiting the North West Highlands, or are resident here and looking for a family-friendly excursion, stop by The Rock Stop for a coffee and a bite to eat with a view and explore the stories of our landscape and Geopark!
We will be open from 10:00am – 4:00pm on Easter Monday 21st, Tuesday 22nd, and Monday 28th April. We will be open Mondays & Tuesdays in May and Monday-Friday from June.
